I have a PhD in Genetics and several years of subsequent experience working in academia. I am now an academic editor, consultant, and coach. I started my online business, Academic Relations, to help academics better communicate their research findings and strengthen their interpersonal communication and leadership skills.

 

These are all skills we are expected to have in academia; however, they are rarely explicitly taught, so I wanted to create resources to help. I provide academic editing services, one-to-one online consulting on written and verbal academic communications, and a solutions-focused online coaching approach to communications-based issues and conflict resolution within academic teams.
